David Stewart is an AveraOpEx team consultant with over 11 years of proven experience in healthcare and manufacturing operations.  His leadership through strong analytic skills and results-oriented focus has helped clients such as Centrex Clinical Laboratories, Stanford University Medical Center, and Fenwal Blood Technologies to exceed their improvement goals. Some examples include reducing turn around time for test services by 80%, saving $6.5 million in inventory, increasing capacity by 41% and improving productivity by 20%.

After graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, David pursued a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering degree at Wichita State University which he completed in 1999.  As the Raytheon Aircraft graduate assistant in manufacturing engineering, he developed a fuzzy Bayesian system to proactively identify areas of high defect opportunity for large companies with high-product mix but low-volume.
